Monkey Shoulder

One of the most requested Scotch blends has finally arrived in the U.S.! Monkey Shoulder is more than a cute bottle, though those monkeys sure are adorable, it's an all-Speyside vatting with no grain whisky. It earns its description as a "triple malt," containing Balvenie, Glenfiddich, and Kininvie malts.  A superb blended malt whisky from William Grant, made with single malts from the company's neighbouring distilleries in Dufftown. The result is a smooth, creamy, supple and very malty Scotch which works superbly well neat, over ice, or in whisky cocktails (where it really excels.)

Captain Morgan White Rum

the nose on Captain Morgan White Rum is fairly light with vanilla, molasses, cola, light citrus, and black pepper. The bottle indicates that the rum is “5 Times Distilled”, but since it’s a column distilled rum, the number of times something is distilled is pure fantasy. That statement, combined with the nose, suggest that like Bacardi Superior and Brugal Extra Dry, Diageo is hoping that their Captain Morgan White Rum will appeal not only to white rum drinkers but also serve as a crossover to vodka drinkers. The entry for Captain Morgan White Rum is lightly sweet with vanilla, sugar, and light molasses. It’s pretty clear from the start that there is sugar added to the mix, and a sugary note is persistent throughout the flavor experience. In the midpalate we pick up some light caramel, a touch of coconut, banana, and some light char. At the end of the midpalate things dry out a bit with a spike of black pepper spice. The finish is medium length and dry with vanilla and black pepper spice. - See more at: http://www.drinkspirits.com/rum/review-captain-morgan-white-rum/#sthash.otsNF6Ak.dpuf

and creamy with hints of lush fruit and green apple. It’s remarkably crisp, carries a smooth finish and is great for adult fans to enjoy responsibly year round.  The new offering is best enjoyed on the rocks, paired with cola or lemon-lime soda, or as the key ingredient in a number of
Caribbean-inspired cocktail recipes.

Aeroplano LX

Aeroplano LX, represents the purity and quality of an ultra premium tequila, made with the best agave heads, harvested after 8 years from our finest agave parcels in Jalisco state. Aeroplano LX has been masterfully created by Agustin Sanchez, our "Maestro Tequilero" who has developed, after a process of selecting the best agave heads cooked in a century old masonry oven followed by a triple distillation and ending with the exact extra oxygenation, a high end premium tequila for the connoisseur.

2 Gingers Irish Whiskey

2 Gingers Whiskey is a blended Irish whiskey that is inspired by the humor, passion and can-do attitude that come along with being Irish. With its smooth, accessible flavor, this whiskey is the spirit of the Big Ginger and Skinny Ginger cocktails – the brand’s balanced, simple and undeniably smooth trademarked recipes. The 80-proof blend is
twice-distilled and aged for four years, creating a smooth, malty and slightly sweet taste that is known to convert many skeptics into
lovers of Irish whiskey.

Schwartzhog Liqueur

Herb & Spice Liqueur is a dark liqueur made mostly in Germany and Austria sweetened with sugar. The best known brand being Jagermeister. Like many spirits its history goes back to Medieval times when it was thought to have healing powers. Dark brown in color, Schwartzhog is a German liqueur that exhibits aromas of cocoa, tangerine, and sweet spice, followed by notes of vanilla and peppery spices on the palate. The finish is long and smooth, tasting of unsweetened chocolate. Serve ice cold.

Glenmorangie Companta

Inspired by Dr. Bill’s travels across France’s greatest vineyards and the friends made along the way, Glenmorangie Companta (Scots Gaelic for ‘friendship’) is a refined balance between bold spice and rich, smooth sweetness; the result of a careful assemblage of spirit extra matured in Grand Cru casks from Clos de Tart and those of a lusciously sweet fortified wine from Côtes du Rhône.

Altos Tequila

Olmeca Altos stands out amongst the competition by using the traditional Tahona method of expressing the agave juice and syrup.  What is Tahona, you ask?  It involves a 4000 pound millstone made from volcanic rock called a Tezontle which crushes the cooked agave in much the same way a millstone grinds wheat.  There are very few distilleries still using this method as it is both time-consuming and rather old-fashioned.  But, when it comes to making fine spirits, all the extra effort and care is worth it.

Mang-O-Rita/Raz-Ber-Rita

Anheuser-Busch will make good on its promise to expand its
Bud Light Lime portfolio way beyond Straw-Ber-Rita and Cran-Brr-Rita with next month's launch of Mang-O-Rita & Raz-Ber-Rita flavors, the latter of which is a malted beverage roughly based on a raspberry margarita "with a twist." The launch is great news nonetheless for anyone searching for a new drink.  It's here now!
