Torbreck RunRig Shiraz(2003)
The RunRig combines the sheer fruit intensity of some of the finest Shiraz vines of the Barossa with European elegance - the small percentage of Viognier adding real vitality - and hence the best of both worlds.
Wine Spectator Rating - 98
Gaja Barbaresco (2001)
Amazingly supple, round and pure, smoothly polished to the point where the tannins almost disappear, but something is supporting the gorgeous blueberry, plum, mineral and subtle spice flavors to let them soar
on and on through the extraordinarily long,
fleshy finish.
Wine Spectator Rating - 93
Cliff Lede Poetry
Cabernet Sauvignon(2007)
Deep broading fruit dances on the palate without being too extracted. Always a favorite of the wine critics, we are in agreement that this winery will continue to impress for years to come given the passion that Vintner Cliff Lede pours into his estate.
Wine Spectator Rating - 94
Anderson's Conn Valley Reserve Cabernet Savignon (2007 & 2008)
A spectacular effort that is as black as a moonless night, this full-bodied wine boasts abundant aromas of creme de cassis, camphor and subtle oak presented in a voluptuously textured,
full-bodied style with terrific richness and depth. Great intensity and opulence as well as a layered mouthfeel make for a remarkable wine that should age for 20-30+ years. Wine Advocate Rating - 98
Frank Family Vineyards Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon (2007)
The aromas are brimming with sweet blackberries, Tahitian vanilla, chocolate dusted espresso beans and spiced cake with raspberry coulis. As further layers emerge; notes of aniseed, sage browned butter, and cigar box come forward. The palate is profuse and lively bursting with juicy cherries, blackberry pie topped with cardamom ice cream, and fresh brewed coffee with a touch of cinnamon.
Wine Advocate Rating - 95
Rubicon Cask Cabernet Sauvignon (2007)
