2006 St. Francis RED
Sonoma Valley, CA
Considered the red of any occasion, its succulent blend of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Zinfandel and Mixed Blacks (Cabernet Franc, Grenache, Alicante, Malbec), RED has lush ripe red fruit flavors and spicy aromas. Full-bodied and versatile, this little RED has everything you need for your first cook out of 2011 or a quiet evening next to the fire.
Ben's Pick
2008 Opolo Mountain Zinfandel
Paso Robles, CA
Predominately sourced from Westside vineyards in Paso Robles, this Zinfandel shows just some of the great characteristics I have come to love about Zinfandel. Regardless of high alcohol levels (16.7%) my glass is filled with deep fruit like black cherry and raspberries with a hint of vanilla (10% new oak barrels). Perfect for the spring and summer ahead, this wine will go best with a slab of spicy ribs and any group of friends and family.
Jodi's Pick
2006 Gundlach Bundschu Mountain Cuvee
Sonoma, County, CA
Though a predominately Merlot wine (70%), notes of cassis, anise and coriander shine through from the steep hillside planted Cabernet Sauvignon (29%) allowing 1% of Petit Verdot to provide the more dense fruit and dark colors to finish. With such abundant fruit and intense flavors, concentration and high extraction filling the glass now, this should show well for the next four to five years.
Matt's Pick
2009 Owen Roe Sinister Hand Columbia Valley, WA
Featuring a blend of 70% Grenache, 26% Syrah and 2% each Mourvedre and Counoise, this aromatically expressive and exuberant blend of Southern Rhone varietals truly showcases the warmth of the 2009 vintage in the beautiful state of Washington. Ripe and richly textured, this palate coating wine is all black cherries, raspberries, creosote and black pepper; something that will please in the near term but will also benefit with several years in the cellar. Enjoy this with grilled pork doused in Kansas City barbecue sauce.
Diana's Pick
2009 Ponzi Pinot Gris Williamette Valley, OR
A floral nose with lime and green apple, the mouth is ripe melon, clove and citrus finishing with a perfect play between sweetness and acidity.
2007 Charles Smith Wines "Chateau Smith"
Cabernet Sauvignon
Columbia Valley, WA
Considered a super smooth Cabernet, it fills your nose with cedar, cherries and dark bouquet of roses. Sourced from 5 vineyards, including Adler Ridge and Milbrandt this wine is built for bigger meals from steak and pork to veal and game. We couldn't agree more when Mr. Charles Smith said, "French? No. Chateau Smith? Qui!"

Angela's Pick
Sean Minor 2009 Carneros
Pinot Noir
Angela was intrigued when a gentleman came into the store to purchase several cases of this wine. The gentlemen told her he had sent a case to his wine snob brother in California. The brother then called to rave about this terrific Pinot Noir. Angela figured it must be a special wine and wanted to try it for herself...she was not disappointed.
Guelbenzu Azul
2006 Ribera Del Queiles
Azul comes to us from a winery that is located on rolling slopes of the foothills of the Pyrenees Mountains. Azul is a red blend consisting of 50% Tempranillo, 30% Merlot & 20% Cabernet Sauvignon. It's a dark ruby red with flavors of raspberry, dark red cherries and a hint of pepper.
This is a stylish wine with well integrated tannins and a long lingering finish. Pair it with any red meat dish. Decanting is recommended as it is unfined
and unfiltered.
Greg's Pick
Trentadue Winery 2006
La Storia Cuvee' 32 Red Wine
The fruit is sourced from California's Alexander Valley and the juicy wine is fashioned after an Italian Super Tuscan with a west coast difference. A long ripening season contributed to this abundant dark fruit blend, from it's deep violet volor, medium thick body, to it's rich and smooth dark fruit flavors. This finishes with pleasant acidity and lingering spices and tannins...super value!
Jim's Pick
SIMI 2007 Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon
Jim D. has always been a SIMI fan and he thinks you'll love the 2007 vintage Cab. The wine is done in a rich and expressive style that showcases blackberry, licorice, fresh herbs, plum and current flavors intermixed with spicy toasted oak. The finish is long and smooth with a hint of caramel and vanilla. This wine drinks well right out of the gate and should age gracefully for the next 3 to 5 years.
Toad Hollow Amplexus NV Brut Cremant De Limoux
The wines of Limoux were France's first sparkling wines. The grapes used in the blend are Chardonnay, Mauzac and Chenin Blanc. This is a robust Cremant with tiny bubbles and a long elegant finish. The wine is completely dry, but with a rich texture and very sensual mouthfeel. There's loads of citrus flavor like white grapefruit and lemon, some stone fruit and a steely edge to clean the palate. It's great with chicken, light seafood dishes and even goat cheese appetizers.

2008 J. Lohr Seven Oaks Cabernet Sauvignon
Paso Robles, CA
This central coast cabernet presents itself to all of your senses for enjoyment; first your sight, with brilliant red-purple color that seems to float in the glass, followed by the aromas of black cherry, black currant and plum fruit, complemented nicely with a hint of vanilla, and toasty notes from the 12 to 14 months in American oak barrel. And finally, the finish echo's the fruit flavors found in the aroma along with blackberry and a plum, softly texture mouthfeel.
